IS MY CHARITY/NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION OF INTEREST ELIGIBLE?
There are a few minimum requirements for eligibility in nominating organizations.
Organizations must be:
A registered non-profit or charitable organization able to provide a tax receipt for donations.
Must be established for a minimum of one year. We do not donate to start-ups in their first year.
If the organization is a part of a larger network, 100% of the donated funds MUST stay on the Sunshine Coast. The funds can be used for an existing organization to fund a new initiative but that must be 100% locally implemented.
For the purposes of nomination eligibility, the 'Sunshine Coast' covers from Port Mellon to Earl's Cove and includes Thormanby, Keats, and Gambier Islands.
What if i'm part of a charitable organization or non-profit?
Organizations must be nominated by an in-good-standing member of 100+ Women Who Care Sunshine Coast to be considered. A great way to make us aware of you is to connect with us online.
